Case Study: Random, Rhosneigr

This outstanding 8-bedroom property has been carefully considered and detailed throughout. Located on the back of the beach in Rhosneigr, Anglesey it sits alongside an adjoining holiday home also designed by Buju Architects.

Random was designed with functionality and adaptability at its heart. The hidden lift shaft integrated into the property ensures the house can age with its occupants, while the layout allows the property to be split into two autonomous dwellings without compromise.

A large open-plan living space occupies most of the ground floor with easy access to the garden including a sheltered dining space.

‘We love the modern design and use of the glass to provide lots of natural light and to make the most of the amazing views.’

  • Local granite from Trefor Quarry was used alongside Cedar Cladding to sit comfortably in context and reduce maintenance requirements.
  • Air-source heating, variable speed pumps and internet control allow for the sustainable operation of the home.
