Buju Architects are currently progressing designs for the extension and internal re-modelling of this office building in Bredbury.
The proposed design replaces a single storey projection at the front of the building with a portal-framed extension, following the profile of the existing industrial building.
The angled glass facade create a functional and sculptural feature to the main frontage, addressing the main entrance and providing external shelter.
New office space is created at first floor, accessed via the vaulted entrance lobby.
The design creates a much more appropriate welcome to staff and visitors as they enter the Technology and Innovation Centre for the company.
Buju Architects completed a measured building survey for the building and have prepared the design (currently at RIBA Stage 3) using Autodesk Revit.
