We are delighted to announce that our project in Crewe has been granted full planning approval! The project is the conversion and extension of a disused pub to create 13no. apartments. This scheme has been designed as supported accommodation for adults with disabilities and mental health problems. The residential accommodation is for vulnerable adults with learning and physical disabilities who may need occasional support in their daily lives. The aim of the scheme is to help those that are vulnerable to lead an independent life in good quality, well-equipped accommodation with access to on-site support as and when required.
We have designed these apartments in accordance with the relevant Building Regulations and to meet the design criteria set out in the Lifetime Homes standards to ensure maximum flexibility and independence for future occupiers. For example, we have designed the physical disability apartments to be fully accessible, shower rooms are adapted as wet rooms and kitchens have adjustable work surfaces. Additionally, high quality landscaped and paved areas will be constructed to facilitate disabled access to all parts of the site externally. We look forward to working on the technical package in due course!
